oMUD - client made by Ore for Shadowmud, a patch to use with current shadowmud is on the Yahoo Group

gMud - free client that can also be downloaded from the shadowmud Yahoo Group

TinyFugue - A client targeted mainly for Unix/Linux based systems (but runs quite well on Windows). All command-line, but has a number of powerful features.

Gnome MUD - Extremely simple but easy to use GUI client, built for Gnome systems.

iceMud - free client made by Icewolfz that is currently in development that supports most features of oMUD and many major clients, constantly being edited and changed to add more useful features.

OoMUD - The online webclient on shadowmud.com, simply click the link and it will let you login. Client features most every thing oMUD can do and more.

The MUD Portal - Online web client that uses a websocket proxy to allow connecting to many differnt muds, the links logs directly into shadowmud.

Mudlet - free open source client that works on windows, linux and mac and supports most modern features.

You can use any mud client to connect to the mud. In a pinch you can resort to your operating system's “telnet” client, note those who use windows vista, it does not install the default operating system's “telnet” you have to install it manually from add/remove programs if you wish to use windows vista telnet, go here for a step by step to install on vista.
