Edorin, Goddess of the Elements.
Realm: earth, water, air, and fire.
Typical Appearence: Edorin usually manifests as a small maelstrom, no
larger than the size of a child. Those that have witnessed Edorin's
presence have claimed to have all the hair on their body's stand on end
and a feeling of intense wakefulness and clarity flood their soul.
Represented by: Sudden windstorms, tidal waves, fire.
Followers: Those that choose the path of the elements often take on
characteristics of their 'favourite' element. Fire elementalists tend to
be fickle and aggressive, while those who choose water are more subdued
and quiet. The ones who favour air are often flighty and quick-witted,
and those of earth are very stable and dependable people despite their
lack of flair. There are also some who have no chosen favourite and tend
to work with all elements. Their nature is usually chaotic and they go
wherever their desire takes them.
Commentary: Edorin granted ever-sustaining beauty to her twin's living
gift, Nature. Her streams and rivers fed the land while her oceans, seas
and lakes provided homes for many species of life. She gave the races of
Caspia warmth from fire, and a stable foundation on which to build their
homes and grow their crops. She maintains the skies, keeping a balance
between the harsh winter weather and the soft, warm spring. Edorin is
always working to help her twin, Baeron, keep their overlooked blessings
in tune.
Edorin's symbol is a small translucent stone within which burns an orange
flame.
A true follower of Edorin will possess a mean soul.
