A character's level is an indication of his/her experience and state of advancement within a chosen class. Levels can be divide into four broad catergories. These catergories are: Child: The very basic block, all new characters are a child until they join a class. Level range: 1 Newbie: The learning block, as a newbie you can access the newbie store and newbie only equipment. Newbies are also allowed to buy potions from the newbie store to help them adapt to play. Finally newbies have access to the <rescue> command to allow them to return to the Kieron square if they get lost. Newbies also have access to the newbie line to ask question and see help Level range: 1 to 5 Mortals (Mid): At level 10 you can subclass, follow a diety or if a fighter can follow a hero. Mids also have access to the mid line to try and help find players that are similar level to party with Level range: 6 to 19 High mortal: High mortals are knowledged players of the mud. High mortals get the hm line for chatting and finding other high mortals to party with. They also gain access to class only high mortal rooms or general high mortal only rooms. Finally high mortals gain access to new commands and features. To reach High Mortal, players must complete an involved quest to demonstrate knowledge of the lands and worthiness to hold such an esteemed rank. The character must also gather enough experience for the level. Level range: 20 to 99 High mortal: This is a sub block of high mortals that appear on the who list, there is nothing really speical about it other then standing out in who Level range: 40 to 59 High mortal: This is a sub block of high mortals that appear on the who list, there is nothing really speical about it other then standing out in who Level range: 60 to 99 Legend: Legandary players, they have worked to gain the highest level in the game.
