Phaedrus, God of War (Physical Conflict)

Realm: Physical conflict, valor

Typical Appearence: Phaedrus usually appears as a tall, muscular man of
human race.

Represented by: Weapons, banners and pennants, armour and the battlefield.

Followers: Those who follow the God of War are mainly strong fighters who
relish the challenges of battle. While they can be dangerous foes, they
usually don't kill fellow intelligent races with malice. Physical feats
and skill are what impress Phaedrus and his followers. Members of any
class can follow Phaedrus, as he does not discriminate against class or
ability. Training one's blade or magical ability is what Phaedrus is
about, not the useless death and destruction that is often a side effect
of war.

Commentary: Phaedrus is the God of War, however, he cares little for
killing, as that is Death's realm. He celebrates the act of battle, not
the destruction in life. He revels in the exertion of bodies competing
against the odds, whether it be unarmed or weapon combat, and the
structured battles sometimes needed to solve issues among the races.
Phaedrus watches over all who challenge themselves with physical hurdles
and who strive to improve themselves and their blades. He shuns those who
bully the undefended or those too weak to do battle for themselves.

Phaedrus's symbol is a polished steel medallion depicting the Great
Battle. Covering the scene are two blood stained swords, crossed to form
an X.

A true follower of Phaedrus will possess a bad soul.
