Miscellaneous weapons

Besides cords there aren't really much choice for those who want something 'out of the ordinary' for their weapon.  As a proposal for more how about the following:  KUSARI-FUNDO / MANRIKIGUSARI is a chain used like a cord, but it is something else.  And also, TESSEN, the war fan.  It is certainly a 'miscellaneous' weapon if there ever was.  It would be slashing damage only, have a minor deflection like shields do, but MUCH more minor, and could be a fashion accessory too.  Anyway, that was just a strange thought and I thought I would share.
