Blacksmithing is the skill used to work with metallic materials. This skill
when used with abilities allows someone to manipulate the metal using <forge>
to create new metal items from any patterns they know that can be used with metal.
Players can also <smelt> objects and materials containing metals back into the
raw metal ores to be used in other crafting projects.
To learn blacksmithing you must find a local smith or metalworker that teaches it
and any abilities or patterns. Many of the larger or rural towns have at least one
blacksmith that are also the weapon or armorers shops.
